I am been born in the province of Salta, in that beautiful town, product of richest of the spiritual entertainers, the wine, that privileged place is called Cafayate. My father Rafael, wine of Almeria, Spain, and settled down itself back in the mount, of a very glad spirit and of a very good memory, because he always sang and in addition it liked the theater. My mother Maria Mercedes was born in Cachi, in High Valleys of Salta and also she was very glad. Of that mixture we were born four brothers, all a little musical, but only that cultivates music I am. I began in native music with a group that was called "Los Puesteros" of Yatasto, was with other three friends, for more or less eight years, and learned what was to be outside the house of the parents and far from the town. I made debut with The Chalchaleros in 1966, the 4 of January, in Sea of the Silver. It could not believe it, to be sharing the time of song with these great ones of our music. I have four children, Lucas, Mariano, Maria Victoria and Julieta.
